There is an old story about two wolves.
A grandfather tells a young boy that inside every person, two wolves are fighting.
One, the Dark Wolf, carries anger, bitterness, fear, resentment, excuses, and hate.
The other, the Light Wolf, carries courage, kindness, loyalty, hope, gratitude, discipline, and love.
The boy thinks about this for a moment and asks, “Which wolf wins?”
The grandfather answers:
“THE ONE YOU FEED.”
At CROSSCO, we know life can give you plenty of reasons to feed the wrong wolf.
Pain. Loss. Setbacks. Scars. Starting over.
But every day still gives you a choice.
You can feed bitterness, or you can feed purpose.
You can feed excuses, or you can feed movement.
You can feed what was taken, or you can feed what can still be built.
CROSSCO was built by feeding the wolf that keeps going.
Feed the Light Wolf

Welcome to CROSSCO
At CROSSCO, we build products with personality, purpose, and a story behind them. From Arm & A Leg Barbecue to Awesome Possum Sauce and everything still to come, this is a disabled-owned small business built on resilience, loyalty, grit, and the belief that life is movement.
We’re not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We’re trying to be one worth remembering.
Everything here comes from real life, real experience, and the simple belief that when life takes pieces away, you can still build something meaningful with what remains.
Built From This.
Life Is Movement.
CrossCo was not born in a boardroom. It was built from hardship, survival, loyalty, and the belief that even after life tears pieces away from you, you can still build something meaningful.
Founder Brian Crossett has spent a lifetime adapting, rebuilding, and moving forward. The son of a World War II Marine Raider, he grew up around toughness, discipline, and the understanding that you keep moving no matter what life throws at you. Over the years he survived catastrophic injuries, major medical setbacks, loss, rehabilitation, and the challenge of rebuilding his life physically and emotionally more than once.
But CrossCo was never created around pity. It was created around resilience.
The company began not with products, but with a philosophy: Built From This. A belief that scars, struggle, loyalty, and perseverance can become the foundation for something authentic. From premium barbecue rubs to future dog nutrition products, every idea inside CrossCo is tied to real life, real stories, and real relationships.
At the center of that story is Ollie — a specially selected Newfoundland service dog and future lifelong partner. Ollie represents companionship, trust, movement, adventure, and the next chapter of life. Together, Brian and Ollie plan to travel Montana and beyond, documenting life, recovery, loyalty, and the simple joy of continuing forward.
CrossCo is not a corporation pretending to have a story. It is a story that became a company.
Built from hardship. Built from loyalty. Built from scars. Built from hope.
Built From This.
